DESCRIPTION:
Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, Mass., deck clock, 8 day, time only, spring-driven jeweled balance wheel movement in a brass case with hinged bezel, 6 inch black dial with white Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds, and Breguet style hands.
CONDITION:
The heavy brass case has a slightly foggy finish and very fine scratchs. Case is stamped with a serial number matching the one on the movement. The black dial looks very good. The presence of particles in the dial's black surface suggests that it is not a factory finish. Hands are original with very small cracks in the finish near the center arbor. The signed movement ticks. Movement serial number 59395
